Sphelix

Corridor ran in to our good friend Johnny Hawkes showing his Sphelix off to the world at Covent Garden as part of LDF. See more about this wonderful object that took Johnny 17 years of perseverence to create and bring to life in many different forms at sphelix.com. Better still go and meet him at the installation and say Hi.

Getting ready for the Anti Design Festival

We are looking forward to participating in the designLESS initiative to help recent graduates with portfolio and communicating skills during this coming months Anti Design Festival. A few of us met with Neville Brody yesterday evening to look at a potential space for the designLESS initiative. Was great to hear more about the Anti Design Festival and great to meet up with a bunch of like-minded souls. ADF starts 18-26 Sept on Redchurch St E16

Way Old Football Cards 1978-79

Recently the Corridor guys have been partnering on a couple of projects that involve the beautiful game. We came across these old Sun Soccercards from the 1978-79 season. Blimey, footballers looked like real blokes back then, earned a realistic salary, and loved the game for the right reasons. We love these illustrations, and it took us back to the 'lemon-curd-sandwiches' moments we so looked forward to during the summer hols of the late 1970's!

Kai and Sunny at Haunch of Venison

Our collective cannot wait for the opening of the Daydreaming project at the Haunch of Venison. Our good friends Kai and Sunny will be exhibiting, alongside some world class creatives from Jonathan Glazer to another Brighton based protagonist, John Hillcoat. We caught up briefly with Kai, and he kindly sent us a glimpse of what they have been working on. The two pieces they will be exhibiting are entitled 'Country Tune - North' and 'Country Tune - South'. See attached close up. Also see Phil's interview with James Lavelle at fadwebsite.com

Pixels and post its

On a recent outing, Corridor created a way to recall what had been learnt and unlearnt, during a meeting of minds. The pack of post its were morphed in to an image of a well known playright for each group to use... More post it mania to follow shortly.
